He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Means and Grace Huff Means; and his sister Betty Dyess. He is survived by: his significant other Betty Means; his children, Melissa Pate (David), Sam Means, Jr. (Angela), Tim Means (Tabatha) and Samatha Wolf; his grandchildren, Dustin, Cody, Zachary, Wyatt, Hunter Wolf (Megan) and Jocelyn; his great grandchildren, Huntley and Sam Wolf; and his brothers, Jackie Means (Beverly), Rufus Means (Linda) and Johnny Means (Suzanne). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, friends.
