With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Allen Gowan Sr. (Braxton, Mississippi), who passed away on November 24, 2018 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Damie Pauline Gowan and Deborah Clark; and his sister Paul Gowan. He is survived by: his son Ronnie Brown (Brittney); his stepchild Linkoln Troy Gowan; his grandchildren, Leigha McCallum and Johnny Cockrell (Lynnette); and his siblings, Pamela Chain (John), Thomas Gowan, Laura Gowan and Christy Cockrell (Kevin). He is also survived by (Sister-in-law), numerous nieces and nephews.
