He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward Fitzhugh and Ruby Pearl Fitzhugh (Holden); and his siblings, J. C., Kenneth and Faydra Jackson (Fitzhugh).
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Fitzhugh; his siblings, Fred, Ottie Earl Saucier, Betty Nell James and Connie Welford; and his children, Tommy (Megan), Shawn, Brian (Brittany) and Teresa Kemp. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made directly to Bernice Fitzhugh to assist with expenses.
