He is survived by: his parents, Tommy Welch and Kay Welch; his wife Shay; his children, Krista Brown, Allie Welch and Leon Brown; and his sister Cindy Welch.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at 9:00 AM at the family's farm due to COVID-19 concerns, as well as his love for the outdoors and the farm.
