He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Kim Easley (Tony) of Houlka, Julie Starks (Scott) of Bruce, Kerry McGregor (Chris) of Pittsboro and Jordan McLeod (Andin) of Fairhope, Alabama; his brother Jerry "Squeaky" James (Robin) of Bruce; his grandchildren, Karman Starks, Dowden Taylor, Connor Starks, Cailey McGregor, Ann Murray McLeod, Capps McLeod, Jenna Beth Jaggers and Jake McGregor; his sibling's children, Nick James (Natalie), Tyler James and Kristie Adams; his great-nephew Ethan James; and his great-nieces, Elaina James and Ella James.
