He was predeceased by: his parents, Doug Hardwick and Ara Hardwick; and his sister Onie Hardwick. He is survived by: his spouse Gail Hardwick; his son Charles Douglas Hardwick (Ali); his grandchildren, Heather Parrish, Kyle Parrish and Lexxis Powell; his sibling's children, Buddy Wiggington and Barbra Ann Woodruff; and his close friend Estelle Wright.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Magnolia Funeral Home - East (2024 US-72, Corinth, MS 38834). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
