He is survived by: his wife Betty Shankle; his sons, Albert Shankle (Carla) of Houston, MS, Mike Shankle of Calhoun City and Jeff Shankle; and his grandchildren, Emmie of Nettleton, Brooke of Nettleton, Cody of Nettleton, Blake of Nettleton, Will Shankle of Nettleton, Brandon of Nettleton, Courtney of Nettleton, Buddy Tatum (Betty) of Nettleton and James Tatum (Diane) of Nettleton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
