He is survived by: his children, Joseph "Marty" Cauthen, III (Jeannine) of New Concord, KY, Philip Cauthen (Carol) of Huntsville, AL, Tim Cauthen of Camden, Cheryl Hopper of Guntersville, AL and Nancy Thompson (Nick) of Madison; his brother Robert H. Cauthen of Madison; and his grandchildren, Joseph Cauthen, Bobby Hopper, Will Hopper, Nicholas Thompson, Katie Cauthen and Trevor Cauthen.
