He is survived by: his wife Vonda Spiess of Carriere, Mississippi; his stepchildren, Victoria Tuck of Carriere and Vanesssa Snodgrass of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; his children, Frank G. Spiess, III of Slidell and Deborah Henton of Mandeville, Louisiana; his stepgrandchildren, Morgan Samantha Modlin and David Modlin, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Vivienne, Julia, Canon and Thomas.
