He is survived by: his wife Betty Louise Hendricks Padgett; his children, Eileen Cooke (Tim), Margaret Sorensen (Paul) and John Edward Padgett; his grandchildren, Rachel Harris (Bob), Allison Chisum (Wesley), Tiffany Gill (Reese) and Stephanie Sorensen; his great grandchildren, Joshua Harris, Jax Harris, Tucker Chisum, Wyatt Chisum and Emma Grace Gill; and his sisters, Marjorie Anne McGhee and Mary Jean Padgett. He is also survived by husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
