He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Spence and Hattie Frazier Spence. He is survived by: his wife Frances Lee Spence of Carriere, Mississippi; his children, Michael Spence (Kacie) of Carriere, Mississippi, Kara Badeaux (Joseph) of Texas, Mark Spence (Brandy) of Carriere, Mississippi and Rachael Robinson (JP) of Carriere, Mississippi; and his siblings, Howard Spence, Orean Mitchell and Martha Lou Pearson. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
