He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Welch and Mamie Kimes Welch; his wife Linda; his children, Jason (Ruth), Sonny (Casey), Georgiana King (Brad), Kristie Hairston and Christi Cave (Lee); and his sisters, Linda King (Perry), Jo Johnson and Charlotte Garcia. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
