He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Whatley and Lois Neal Whatley; and his daughter Teresa Gail Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Louise Vest Neal of Carrollton, MS; his sons, Terry Neal of Carrollton, MS and Edward Neal of Charlotte, NC; and his aunt Belle Beckwith of Carrollton, MS. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
