She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Abbey and Elizabeth Abbey; her siblings, John Abbey, Walter Abbey and Mary "Missy" Boyles; her son David Shaw; and her husband James E "Jimmy" Ricks.
She is survived by: her brother Dan Abbey (Barbara) of Gulf Breeze, FL; and her children, Jimmy Stewart "Bo" Ricks (Susan) of Carroll County and Janna Stiles (Mark) of Carrollton.
