She was predeceased by: her parents, George Fredrick Reader and Laura Edna Charleson Reader; her siblings, Mavis Reader Lindell (John), Corinne Reader Luhm (Gordon) and Roger Reader; her son Lester Ray Howell, Jr.; her husband Lester Ray Howell; her daughters, Leslie Sue Howell and Elaine Ann Howell Buchanan; her sons-in-law, Frank Moore Buchanan, Jr. and Rex Mason Barnes; her grandson Mason Rex Barnes; and her great grandchild Taylor Buchanan.
She is survived by: her nephew Steve; her children, Bruce S. Howell of Heber Springs, AR, Beverly Howell Barnes and Beth Howell Tingle (Terry) of Carrollton, MS; her grandchildren, Frank M. Buchanan III (Jennifer) of Jackson, MS, Paige Barnes Turner (Dent) of Vaiden, MS, Jennifer Howell Brady (John) of Columbus, MS, Laura Buchanan Owen (Robert) of Hattiesburg, MS and David H. Buchanan (Page) of Fairhope, AL; Sarah, Sam Buchanan, Layne, Gracie Turner, Rachel, Hannah Brady, Thomas, Logan, Brooks, Anna Laura Owen, Aidan, Conner Buchanan, Brodie, Lincoln, Elly Barnes, Nora and Lucas Cassidy. She is also survived by her children, and supporting her children and husband.
