He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard James and Ruby McGehee James; and his sisters, Paula James Jones and Marsha James Joiner. He is survived by: his wife Rita Kendall James of North Carrollton; his sons, Greg James (Kellye) of Winona and Eric James of Greenwood; and his cousin Sue Duke of Carrollton. He is also survived by four grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one on the way; five nieces and nephews.
