He was predeceased by: his son Larry Wayne Nester, Jr.; and his parents, Robert Nester and Johnnie Nester. He is survived by: his wife Janice Minga Nester; his son James Scott Nester (Holly); and his siblings, Linda Harper Jackson (Dale), Patricia Jean Everett (Kenny), Evelyn Ruth Hollis, James Hartford Nester (Carolyn) of Carrollton and John Rayburn Nester (Norma) of Carrollton. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
