She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Wesley Woods and Jimmy Ethel Trotter Woods; her husband Hubert Strachan; and her siblings, Tressie Slocum, Connie Noland, William D. "Bud" Woods, Rachel McCluskey, Christine Christoper, Pauline Noland and Thomas "Jink" Woods.
She is survived by: her son Ken Strachan (Shelia) of North Carrollton, MS; her granddaughter Kate Strachan Shelton (Ethan) of Winona, MS; her great grandchildren, Herschel Shelton and John "Johnny" Shelton of Winona, MS; her close friend Barbara Duke Sheppard of North Carrollton, MS.; and her caregivers, Shavonya Walls, Vanessa Rias, Glenda Holmes, Willie Mae Gomiller, Barbara Duke Sheppard, Sarah Jackson and Cee Cee Love.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the North Carrollton Baptist Church (113 Washington St, North Carrollton, MS 38947). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
