In loving memory of Vickie Bennett of Carrollton, Mississippi, who departed this world on December 7, 2025 at the age of 68. Vickie leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Slaughter and Ruth Slaughter; and her daughters, Mallorie Thomason and Bess Thomason Smith. She is survived by: her husband Ken Bennett; her sons, Jay Thomason (Erin) of Tupelo and Sumner Thomason of Madison; her son-in-law Ryan Smith of Carrollton; her siblings, Carla Dean (Tony) of Florence and Jeff Slaughter of Nashville; and her grandchildren, Caleb Thomason, David Thomason, Daniel Thomason and Pinnie Kate Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the North Greenwood Baptist Church (615 Grand Blvd, Greenwood, MS 38930). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
