It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Franklin Walters of Centreville, Mississippi, born in Magee, Mississippi, who passed away on January 16, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Walters and Evelyn Butler Walters; and his former life partner Ruby Sonia Thornhill Walters. He is survived by : his wife Robbie Clark; his grandchildren, Tal Redhead, Walker King, Anna Charlotte Redhead, David King and Rae Maier; his brother John Polk Thompson; and his siblings-in-law, Corette Thornhill Randall and Thomas Thornhill.
