She was predeceased by: her husbands, Bobby Dean Hood and Kenneth Drew; her parents, Luther McLain and Rennie McLain; and her sisters, Illa Tennesen and Christine Holloway.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Wayne Hood (Annette) of Carroll County, MS, Debra Fouche (Phillip) of Yazoo County, MS, Pricillia Singley (Douglas) of Carroll County, MS and Angel Johnson of Union County, MS; and her siblings, Bo McLain (Bea) of Grenada County, MS, Mack McLain (Penny) of Water Valley, MS, Ricky McLain of Water Valley, MS and Deliah Pollan (Ricky) of Batesville, MS. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of God (715 MS-322, Clarksdale, MS 38614). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
