She is survived by : her children, Robert Burkes of Memphis, TN, Andrew Burkes of Jackson, MS, Stephanie Burkes of Memphis, TN and Claire Burkes of Jackson, MS; her granddaughters, Rosaleigh, Lily and Gigi; and her sisters, Debbie Brunt, Karen Corley and Harriet Allen of Clarksdale, MS..
