Wolverton Sr. (Collins, Mississippi), born in Scott, Mississippi, who passed away on August 9, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Wolverton and Myrtle Haraldson Wolverton; his wife Laverne Corley Wolverton; and his siblings, Otis Wolverton and Margaret Morrison.
He is survived by: his children, Buddy Wolverton of Collins and Sherri L. Wolverton of Collins; his siblings, Bill Wolverton of Picayune, Irene Jenkins of Jackson, Ava King of Florence and Virginia Copeland of Ochlocknee; and his grandchildren, Samuel Wolverton of Denham Springs, Leslie Wolverton of Durham and Daniel Wolverton of Sumrall. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
