She was predeceased by: her parent Milford Wright; and her son Michael Derwood Ponds (Charles Derwood "Charlie"). She is survived by: her parent Lockey Samford Wright; her son Ricky D. Ponds; her daughter-in-law Annette Ponds of Tuscaloosa, AL; her grandchildren, KaiCee Ponds Richardson and Charles Zachary Ponds (Lena); and her great grandchild Eliza Ponds.
