He was predeceased by: his father Darwin Whitmire; and his mother-in-law Mary Power. He is survived by: his mother Marzene Whitmire of Louisville; his wife Georgia Whitmire of Columbus; his children, Brandon Whitmire (Stephanie) of Ethelsville and Cheryl Woody (Murray) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Malorie, Hunter Whitmire of Ethelsville, Andrew and Madison Woody of Columbus; his brothers, Steve Whitmire (Sandy) of Virginia Beach and Kenneth Whitmire (June) of Pensacola, Florida; his aunt Linda Swain of Louisville; his father-in-law Irving Power of Columbus; his stepchildren, Jacob St Laurent and Erin Parisian (Edward); and his stepgrandson Nathaniel St Laurent of Houston, Texas.. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
