She was predeceased by: her parents, William Slaton and Mattie Jane Slaton (Mullins); and her siblings, Christine Williams, Mertice Ugilini, Josephine Evans, Betty Slaton and Paul Slaton.
She is survived by: her daughter Margaret Ann Stephens (James) of Denison; her grandchildren, Billy Whitebread, Don Kilgore, Pam Roberts and Robin Roberts; and her brother Marvin Slaton. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
