He was predeceased by: his parents, Gardner Reid and Lillie Rambo Burcham; his wife Norma Therrell Reid; and his brother Joe Reid. He is survived by: his children, Ben Reid, Jr. (Cheri) of Peachtree City, GA, Anita Rickman (Glenn) of Caledonia, MS and Wanda Carol Stanfield of Columbus, MS; his aunt Raye Rambo Young of West Point, MS; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Sterling, Kerri Howard, Heather Swetz, Elania Rickman, Justin Faulkner, Kasey Stanfield and Erin Stanfield. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
