She was predeceased by: her parents, Barba Newton and Gertie Stapp Bowen; and her husband James Wilford Forrester. She is survived by: her children, Melonie Kight (John) and Anthony "Bubba" Forrester (Angie); her brother Pete Bowen (Edna); and her grandchildren, Monica Kight, Holly Kight, Jamie Forrester, Joey Forrester and Jonathan Forrester.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in her honor to Sanctuary Hospice, Le Bonheur Children's Hospital or Dementia Research.
