It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Edwards (Columbus, Mississippi), born in Itta Bena, Mississippi, who passed away on January 29, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Govnor White and Lola Lee Buckner White; and her husbands, C. G. Rushing and Hugh Edwards. She is survived by: her sons, Hugh Rushing (Mary Helen) of Columbus, MS and Ray Rushing (Vicki) of Starkville, MS; and her sister Grace Bohanon of Seabring, FL. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
