It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chuck Thompson of Columbus, Mississippi, born in Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on August 31, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Randel Thompson and Glenda Provost. He is survived by: his daughter Julie (Tom); his grandson Tommy; his wife Elena "Lennie" Soanes Thompson (Lennie Thompson) of Columbus, MS; his son Charles "Tom" Thompson (Terry) of Columbus, MS; and his siblings, Donald Ray Thompson and Nancy Bearden. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews.
