He is survived by: his wife Lorine Swanigan; his children, Jeanette Cockrell (Johnny Earl) of Columbus, MS, Coretta Hope Swanigan of Columbus, MS, Angel Wilson (Julius) of Columbus, MS, Collier Swanigan Jr. (Princena) of Columbus, MS, Victor Swanigan of Columbus, MS, Jerry Swanigan (Michelle) of Columbus, MS, Michael Swanigan of Columbus, MS and Martin Swanigan of Columbus, MS; his siblings, Vera Stokes of Columbus, MS, Stella Swanigan of Columbus, MS, Linda Swanigan of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Julius Swanigan (Georgia) of Fort Walton Beach, FL and Calvin Swanigan of Columbus, MS; and his daughter-in-law Marcella Swanigan of Hudson, NY. He is also survived by twenty-eight grandchildren and fifty-six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and friends.
