She was predeceased by: her parents, Stella Sanders and Helms; her husband Edward "Gene" Upton; her sons, Doug Upton and Robert Allen Upton; and her brother Doug Helms.
She is survived by: her son Tommy Upton of Columbus, MS; her grandchildren, Robert Allen, Kristie Clark, Kelly Humphres, Rachel Landrum and TJ Upton; and her great grandchildren, Douglas Humphres, William Humphres, Madalyn Humphres, Alexis Pratt, Shyann Smith and Shanna Chapelle.
