He was predeceased by: his former wife Nina Faye Gilliam; his sister Vala White; his stepdaughter Sherry Parker; and his parents, Paul Gilliam and Zelma Shelton Gilliam.
He is survived by: his wife Edwina Wharton Gilliam; his sons, Jeffrey Gilliam (Tani) and Randall Gilliam (Prathima); his stepdaughter Sandra Williams (Dennis); his sisters, Nancy Gilliam and Christine Levine; his grandchildren, Amanda Nicole Gilliam, Ashley Marie Gilliam and Jacob Allan Gilliam; and his stepgrandchildren, Christy Parker, Stephen Parker and Natalie Parker.
The family requests masks be worn due to COVID-19.
