He is survived by: his wife Frances Jones Stewart; his children, Dr. Cynthia Brown (Marvin), Vanessa Stewart, Dr. Tywanda Smart, Yolanda Campbell (John, Sr.) and Melodie Cunningham (Pastor Therman, Sr.); his siblings, Virginia Butler (Gilbert), Luella Hughes, Doris Starks (Marzell), Sarah Jones (Charles) and Sammie Stewart (Shelia); his siblings-in-law, Celia McCallister, Doris Rogers and Tommy Jones; and his grandchildren, Brian Maupin, John Wesley Campbell, Jr., Olivia Irions, Francie Maupin, Crystal Smart, Diamond Smart, Markell Maupin, Sierra Brown, Trevonda Henderson, Basil Brown, Denise Campbell, Stacie Carothers, Rhonda Campbell, Jermaine Campbell, Kevin Hughes, Roz Cunningham, Sr., Lycisia Craddieth and DeAndria Cunningham. He is also survived by great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
