He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Brown Sr. and Earlene Brown; his children, Dennis Evans and Tiffany Thompson; and his siblings, Josie Cunningham, Jesse Brown, Joseph Brown Jr., Willie George Brown, Rosie Brown and Louise Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Crump Brown of Columbus; his children, Brittany Cain Colvin of Columbus, Jermarco Poindexter of Columbus, Tiffany Trimuel of Columbus and Eddie Cain of Columbus; and his siblings, Bobbie Hill of Columbus and Jerry Brown of Columbus. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
