We are sad to announce that on September 3, 2019, at the age of 88, James H. Holmes (Columbus, Mississippi), born in McComb, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Monroe and Jewell Beatrice Smith Holmes; his wife Katherine Henley Holmes; and his brother Bobby Holmes. He is survived by: his children, Mike Holmes, Sterling Holmes of Port St, Deborah King of Colleyville, TX and Tammy Stanley of Columbus, MS; and his grandchildren, Bret Stanley, Boomer Stanley, Jeanna Pursifull and Cristina King.

Memorials may be made to the Macon Pentecostal Church, Hwy 45 Bypass, Macon, MS, 39341.
