He was predeceased by: his parents, James V. Carr and Mary Wall Carr; his wife Mary Josephine Taylor Carr; his sons, James V. Carr, III and Robert "Jeffrey" Carr; his siblings, Robert Earl Carr, Sr. and Mary Carr McDonald; and his great grandchild Courtney Leigh Crockett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Jane Hinojosa and JoAnne Carr; his daughter-in-law Becky Carr; his granddaughters, Cathy Carr Howarth (Will) and Michelle Leigh Crockett; his great grandchildren, Avery Carter Howarth, Harrison James Howarth, Ferron Kendryc Crockett, II, Kaitlyn Breeona Crockett, Christopher Tramane Crockett and Taylor James Crockett; and his sister-in-law Barbara Carr.
