He is survived by: his wife Brenda Atkins Wood of ColumbusMS; his children, Lisa Atkins (Andy) and Robert Keith Wood of Columbus, MS; and his siblings, Peggy Conn (Harold), Largo, Carolyn Long (Phillip) and James "Billy" Wood (Phyllis). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
