She was predeceased by: her parents, Murray Valcus and Lilly Goolsby White; her husband Jack D. Alford, Sr.; and her brothers, Murray White and William White.

She is survived by: her children, Jack Alford, Jr. (Lisa), Rebecca Ready (Joe) of Westminster, MD and Marilyn Bennett (Lance); and her brother Daniel White (June). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
