She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles W. Simmons and Rhea Simmons; and her sister Brenda Joyce Simmons. She is survived by: her husband Ray Barksdale; her children, Tammy Nowland (Ernest) of Columbus, Jamie Barksdale (Ashley) of Caledonia and Randy Barksdale (Morgan) of Columbus; her siblings, Albert E. Simmons (Kathleen) of Oark, Ark, Sherry L. Irons (Gordon) of Cyclone, PA and Darlene M. Weaver (Ralph) of Driftwood, PA; and her grandchildren, Byron, Ernest, Gauge, Landon, Shaylynn, Michael, Raeleigh, John, Aiden, Brianna, Lyam and Bryson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to a local charity of the donor's choice.
