She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Florence "Cissy" Brown and James Connell Murff, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Allicyn Coleman Hewett of Flowood, MS and John Michael Coleman of Alexandria, VA; her granddaughter Kalin Hewett of Caledonia, MS; her brother Jim (Mandy) of Tupelo, MS; her sibling's children, Montana Purvis (Matt) of New Albany, MS, Emery Murff, Garrett Hill of Tupelo, MS. and Rivers Murff of Tupelo, MS.; and also Joe Bell of Tupelo.
