With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura Clay Taylor of Columbus, Mississippi, born in Crawford, Mississippi, who passed away on June 29, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Burt Clay and Sylvia Clay; her siblings, Tyree and Annie Deanes; her nephew John Paul Taylor; and her granddaughter Shameka Gandy.
She is survived by: her sons, Tony Taylor (Crysta) and Bruce Taylor of Columbus, MS; her granddaughter Shaquala Cureton of Columbus, MS; her brothers, Jimmy Lee Clay of Columbus, MS and William Clay of Columbus, MS; and her niece Rena Clay of Columbus, MS. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
