It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon C. Ellis III (Columbus, Mississippi), who passed away on January 10, 2020, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his grandfather Charles Curtis; his children, Leon C. Ellis IV and Haley Ellis Lee (Ricky); his parents, Leon C. Ellis, Jr. and Jacqueline Perkins; his siblings, Kimberly Ellis Darnell and Nichols Ellis; and his grandson Carter Boyd Lee Serving.
