He is survived by: his wife Melissa Phillips of Columbus, MS; his children, Cedric McGee (Bridgette) of Auburn, GA, Monica McGee of Columbus, MS and Leon Phillips, Jr. of Columbus, MS; his granddaughter Audri Marie Phillips; his sons, Mendes Givens of Franklin, TN, Desi Givens, Jr. of Columbus, MS and Hamid Spence Nottage (Janice) of Columbus, MS; and his siblings, Leonard Brown (Geraldine) of Columbus, MS, Edward Phillips (Linda) of Columbus, MS, Johnny Billy Phillips of Columbus, MS, Reginald Mike Phillips of Lawrenceville, GA, Mary Jean Jones (Robert) of Maywood, IL, Betty Brown of Maywood, IL, Mattie Phillips of Lawrenceville, GA, Linda Billups (Steve) of Buford, GA and Willie Skinny Clay (Kathy) of Artesia, MS. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
