She was predeceased by: her parents, Hunter Jones Sr. and Ruth Mae Jones; and her siblings, Hunter Jones Jr., Della Jones, Rosetta Smith, Ossie Jones and Paul Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Jessie Jones of Mt. Vernon, IL, Theodore Jefferson of Columbus, MS and Beverly Ann Moore (Alfonzo) of Columbus, MS; her siblings, Mintha Smith of Mt. Vernon, IL, Dora Ferguson (Joe Lee) and Peter Jones (Norma) of Columbus, MS; her sister-in-law Rose Jones of Mt. Vernon, IL; and her close friend James Smith. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; and a loving host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
