She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Tindle Ittel and Robert Watt; and her husband Ernest Schmitt. She is survived by: her children, Amber Shackelford (Greg) of Steens, MS, Ernest Robert Schmitt (Teresa) of Carlisle, PA, Christopher Jean Schmitt of Columbus, MS and Eric Robert Schmitt of Thailand; her sister Nancy McKeown (Rich) of San Diego, CA; her grandchildren, James Shackelford, Sadie Shackelford, Gabriel Schmitt, Katarina Schmitt and Madison Schmitt; and her sibling's children, Jessalyn McKeown, Katie McKeown and Michael McKeown.
