She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Mae Morris and Harold; her husband James Lewis McCarty; her daughter Amanda McCarty; and her siblings, Jessie Morris, Carl Morris and Nell Carlisle.
She is survived by: her sons, David McCarty of Columbus, MS and James McCarty of Pearl, MS; and her siblings, Ellis Morris (Geneva) and Sue Kellum. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
