She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyman Rupert and Ruth Knowles Craft; her husband Hortis Johnston; her siblings, Carole Lee and Conrad Craft; her son-in-law Ben Payne; and her granddaughter Carole Lynn Payne.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lynda Payne of Columbus, Janey Aiena (Lloyd) of Columbus and Sharyn Knight (Douglas) of Nettleton; and her sisters, Jo Craft, Agnes Dillan, Judith Hester and Wanda Wood. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
