He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Honeycutt Merchant; his children, Deborah Perkins Fuller of Sturgis, MS, Bobby Perkins of Columbus, MS, Michelle Perkins Couture of Stephenville, TX, Jamie Perkins Kendrick (Bobby) of Columbus, MS and Matthew Perkins (Savannah) of Columbus, MS; and his sister Nancy Vaghy of Detroit, MI. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
