It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Payne (Columbus, Mississippi), born in Panola, Alabama, who passed away on May 11, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Amzie Petty and Brooks Christian Bennett; her husband William "Frank" Payne; and her brother Amzie Bennett, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Judy Trimble of Millport, AL, Suzy Tillett and Gene Payne of Gulfport, MS; and her brother Larry Bennett of Navarre, FL. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
